BizLevity Goes Political

Granny’s FlagpinOver at BizLevity, they poke fun at business and — at least, today — politics. Today’s target is those flag pins that every politician seems to have gotten glued to their lapels. Personally, I’m all in favor of banning them from politics. I’d consider myself pretty patriotic, but I don’t think that a politician’s accessories should matter all that — even if those accessories supposedly show patriotism. Next thing you know, every political figure is going to have a “Made in America” handbag.

There’s only one business owner that truly cares whether his candidate is wearing a flag lapel pin — and that’s the guy who owns the factory that makes the darn things!

As Mark and Sarit put it,

If the acid test of who should be the next President rests on how many different totems a candidate can wear, this country’s in big trouble.

Because that means our next President is going to be an Indy race car.

Thanks to Kelly for the link.
