Burger King has unveiled a new way they plan to give back to the community. The BK FamFest national tour will visit six cities in the United States and offer summer entertainment and fun for the whole family.
BK FamFest events will take place until the end of June and will include stops in New Orleans, Miami, Atlanta and Chicago. Each BK FamFest will be hosted by comedian Kevin Hart and the entertainment will showcase R&B pop singer Mario.
Said Risa Schultz of Burger King: “We know that family and friends are very important to our consumers and we designed our BK FamFest(SM) program to provide them with the opportunity to spend some fun, quality time together. We invite everyone to join us for a fun-filled day with the people you consider family – whether it’s your children, friends or neighbors – to relax and enjoy games, food and great entertainment.”
The giving back aspect of the tour will include an online vote on BKFamFest.com. At each city during BK FamFest, a few charities will be featured. The charity that gets the most votes at each stop will receive a $2,500 donation from Burger King.
“The charitable component of the BK FamFest(SM) tour is a unique way to empower our consumers to vote for the charitable organization that is most important to them,” add Schultz. “Whether you’re passionate about youth programs, education or any other cause, this gives everyone a chance to help us make a difference in the communities that we will visit on this tour.”
