Blackberry B List

The Blackberry “B” List is a small application you can download to your Blackberry for storing and sharing your favorite locations for dining, drinks and shopping. The idea sounded interesting to me; it certainly got a lot of press, most recently in Cosmopolitan. So I downloaded it to see what all the hype is about.
My mistake. Articles like “Paris Hilton’s favorite club” and similar should have been a warning sign to me. I was probably the last person on earth to find out who Paris Hilton is, plus I never agree with the opinions and tastes I see in Cosmopolitan.
Even if Paris Hilton does use a Blackberry and the B-List (which I doubt) she is never going to share her list with me and if she did I wouldn’t go to her favorite watering spots.
Instead, people named “Clark”, “Colette” and “Daisy De Villeneuve” shared their lists with me. I now know that “Clark” likes to eat Japanese Noodles at a place called Hokkaido in Paris and sleep at Hotel Amour; “Colette” likes to interact at www.honeycomb.com; “Daisy” likes to shop at John Derian on Second Street in New York. Thanks for the tips, everyone! The next time I am in the vicinity, I will make a beeline for those places.
Seriously, anybody out there really using the B-List? How do you make it work for you?

I haven’t used the B-List, but can you not customize the search fields to give you certain information or exclude other information?
Hi Bridget, sure the fields can be turned off so you can set it up to meet your preferences, but I just don’t get the point of the whole thing. Especially all of the hype the B-List has gotten amazes me. Have you ever talked to anyone who uses it?
