The stars came out in groves in the video for Jamie Foxx’s single “Blame It” featuring T-Pain. The song is from Foxx’s album Intuition which was released in December 2008.

The video takes place inside of a club lit with red lights but, outside, you can see some of the more famous guests getting out of their cars and getting ready for the action. There were more but, most notably, I spotted Samuel L. Jackson, Jake Gyllenhaal, Forrest Whitaker,Ron Howard, Bill Bellamy and Quincy Jones. Inside they can be seen getting their drink on and checking out the ladies. The video isn’t really anything special so, without these celebs, it would be the same old default R&B/Hip Hop video we’ve all gotten used to seeing.
The lyrics for the song are pretty amusing. It’s basically about a guy going into a club and meeting up with a girl who is trying to pretend she’s not easy but is ready to give it up. His advice? Let go, let loose and then “blame it on the alcohol.”
