Blog Promotion

Blogging has become such a part of the scene these days that most writers either have a blog that promotes them or writes blog entries for hire or both. If you’ve got your own blog you want to promote it, and if you’re writing blog entries, or wanting to, you’ll find it easier to get the gigs if you have some sense of how to promote what you write. But, if you’re like me, much of blog promotion is a mystery.
Problogger to the rescue! In an article called 13 Ways to Promote Your Next Blog Post, Darren Rowse demystifies marketing a blog, any blog.
He also explains how to actually do things like social messaging and social bookmarking, which I’m extremely vague about. Reading his posts however, is getting me sorted out nicely.
Take a look. You don’t have to master all 13 today, but implementing one would go a long way toward increasing your blog traffic.
