Blog World Expo 2008 – Recap Roundup

(www.businessandblogging.com) If you’re like me, you didn’t attend the Blog World Expo 2008 in Las Vegas last week. But (if you’re also like me) you’ve been waiting anxiously for recaps from the many bloggers who did attend.
I’ve been searching for a flood of posts detailing the sessions and the lessons learned, but based on the few posts I found, I was beginning to feel like “what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas” was really true!
But at last, I found three recaps that I thought were meaty, well-written and noteworthy which I am glad to share with you. I also found several other bloggers who promised to write their own recaps soon – so hopefully there will be even more good stuff shared in the next week or so.

Thanks for the mention and I’m gad that you enjoyed my recap. Like I said, it was initially a little bit overwhelming when I first arrived to the event, but as I started hanging out with all of the different bloggers I really started to get a lot out of the event.
You definitely need to go next year, put it on your calendar for next October now!

Yes, that’s a great recap by Ryan. And it’s good to see that the real secret of BlogWorld Expo is not a secret – the huge importance of the face to face aspect. It’s a grassroots event + has very knowledgeable speakers, and what I and others have observed is that people who have a lot of knowledge seem very relaxed about sharing it with anyone, even the noobiest of noobies. So I really encourage anyone who is even thinking about blogging for business and wants to spend a couple of days downloading valuable info and interrogating experts who would normally be charging hundreds of dollars an hour, to put those October 09 dates in their planner right now and make a decision to be at the Las Vegas Convention Center for #Blogworld09. Oh, and the parties too :).
