Experts say that blogging is a really good way to bring links back to your site. See, blogging is personal and it allows readers to interact with you and react to what you think. It is also a good way to earn links back to your site. And if you make really good online friends, they would be able to give you links back to your site for free and without much cost.

Blogging has been essential in building links for when you write a blog entry, you actually insert links back to your site. Your blog entry’s content would surely have organic content which is going to help your site rank better.

Anyhow, while browsing the net, I came across a list of things that one should stay away from when blogging and when optimizing your site:

  • Buying traffic
  • Posting paid links for PR gain
  • Duplicate content
  • Black-Hat SEO techniques
  • Blog farms
  • Excessive links with no content
  • Post links without being embedded in content
  • StumbleUpon
  • Digg
  • Facebook
  • Mixx
  • Google
  • TwitThis
  • Reddit
  • Yahoo! Buzz
  • Slashdot
  • E-mail this story to a friend!
  • BallHype
  • YardBarker
