Book Giveaway – “The Night Olympic Team”

As part of this week’s Bloggy Giveaway Carnival, “Light the Torch” is giving away a copy of “The Night Olympic Team.” This 52-page, hardcover book by scientist, Dr. Caroline Hatton, sheds light on the topic of keeping drugs out of the Olympic Games. Dr. Hatton worked inside the testing lab for the 2002 Winter Games and has a unique perspective on the problem. The book is the result of her own experience plus interviews with more than 80 lawyers, other scientists, and sport officials.
Far from being a dry, scientific text, “The Night Olympic Team” uses photos, charts, and easy-to-read text to shed light on the history, testing procedures, and future of “doping” in the Olympics.
The giveaway is open to all US residents age 18 and older. (Sorry Canada; it’s a legal thing.) To enter the contest, simple leave a comment below with the name of your favorite Olympic sport (Summer or Winter). The contest will end Monday, August 4 at midnight (EDT). The winner will be announced on this blog on August 5. Good Luck!
Note: this giveaway is now closed for new entries. The winner will be announced later on Tuesday.
