:) Rats – the fourth rejection just arrived… they didn’t use my SASE, but sent the thing in the same way they send me royalty checks from a project I did for them long ago… so I was doubly disappointed.

Keep trying – persistence pays off in this game. I recently had the delight of a magazine publisher writing to me asking for a story of mine. That made my day – no – it made my week! I did the writer’s jig – and did it again a few weeks later when the cheque arrived. Yippee!
