Boot Camp Trojan Horse

I’m sure nobody has missed all the news recently about Boot Camp allowing Windows to be loaded onto a Mac. The question arises though whether or not this will eventually compromise the the bastian of security that Apple fans have long been fanatical about? Will this be the equivalent of a Trojan Horse to begin spreading viruses and security breaches onto Mac machines?

An article from TechWeb states there’s probably not alot to worry about. If the Windows partition was infected, it wouldn’t impact the OSX or the hardware.

Still, I wonder how long it will be before people really begin to exert efforts to infiltrate more Apple systems. I wonder, what machines/OS’s do virus writers use? Obviously they need to test their viruses on the targeted platform, but is that the one that is actually their preferred?
