Brad Paisley “American Saturday Night”

Brad Paisley released his newest album, American Saturday Night, and from the bit that I’ve heard, it sounds great!  His first single “Then” was released in March, 2009 and reminds me, at times, of Lonestar’s massive hit “Amazed.”  It shortly became Paisley’s 14th #1 song in a row.brad paisley american saturday night

Although his second radio single will be “Welcome to the Future,” iTunes released “Water” on June 9, 2009 and “Everybody’s Here” on June 16, 2009 as part of a promotion leading up to the album’s release.

I think that the title track, “American Saturday Night” is a great, high-energy song (perfect for the upcoming 4th of July celebrations!) with catchy lyrics but I really love “Everybody’s Here.”  The melody and harmonies are really nice and anyone who has ever been through a breakup can relate to the lyrics.  “She’s Her Own Woman” has a bit of a bluesy feel to it and I think it really works with Paisley’s voice.

Overall, it’s a great country album and I think it’s perfect for the summer months.
