Brand Protection

I saw an interesting referral link in my stats at the weekend, from BD Brand Protect. Which means that one of the companies I’ve written about uses this service.

Reading the blurb, this company is all about protecting reputation, providing reports, reviews and a legal service to produce Cease and Desist requests. What’s interesting is that tools behind this are most likely the same tools that would be used to track conversation, dialog and the positive things people are saying about you as well. It is important to do both, but not overdo the negative. Pushing too hard to shut down conversation can often result in backlash!
