Have you developed your Facebook Fanpage for your business so that you can use it to brand your business? Did you know that you can gain support and web traffic when you have a Facebook Fanpage? Then now is the time for you to create a Fanpage if you don’t have so that you can gain support and increase web traffic.

fan-facebook-pageWhen you develop your Facebook Fanpage, there are specific things that you need to have ready to input when you are creating your Fanpage. Keep in mind that you must have a Facebook account in order to create a fanpage. The list below is a simple list that you can use as a guide:

  • Category: will it be a business, brand or band
  • Name that will be associated with the page
  • Photo or Graphic image
  • Description
  • Website address
  • Recent news

As you create your Fanpage, remember that the purpose is to gain support or increase web traffic so sharing information that is helpful to your fans would be favorable. One thing that I like to do is share links to website that would be helpful to my fans as they develop their business. Another thing that you can share is information about upcoming events or teleseminars. Keeping your fans in the loop with updates about your business is another topic that you can share on your fanpage. Another good option to share information is to send updates directly to your fans’ Inbox on Facebook. With this option, make sure that you don’t over do it by sending a lot of messages out to your fans. If you over do it, you just might lose some of your fans.
