NFL Football at its best. NFL Football at its craziest.
Brett Favre and the Jets could back into the Division title
Suddenly this all could get very interesting.
What we thought would happen would be Brett forced out of football.
Then we thought he would become a Minnesota Viking and win the hapless North Division.
Instead he goes to the New York Jets and begins to lead them to victory. The Jets made a lot of off season moves and improved their offensive line. Getting Brett was just icing on the cake. No more Chad Pennington to kick around.
Oh, wait, the Jets still get to kick Chad around. He is a Dolphin. The starting quarterback.
Now some experts are picking the Buffalo Bills to win the Division with Tom Brady hurt.
But Brett Favre is picking the New York Jets to win and you had better listen to him. He has a habit of winning.
Uh-oh. The ripple effect of the torn ACL that ended reigning MVP Tom Brady’s season has opened up the race in the AFC East for starters, and instantly removed the New England Patriots as favorites to win Super Bowl XLIII. Some pundits see the Buffalo Bills as the new team to beat in the division, while Brett Favre’s presence with the resurging Jets just got more interesting.

Ain’t it funny how the loss of one guys changes the whole division/league?
Brady was pretty important.
