Brett needs receivers
This is not the way for Brett to roll through what may be his last season, again. Isn’t he up for retirement every year? Anyway, once again, Brett is down to one so so receiver, Donald Driver.
Now that rookie Greg Jennings has sprained ankles, there is relatively no one else to throw to that can act as a true second receiver.
This just isn’t right. This is Brett Favre. He has been great so long we even know how to spell his name correctly, maybe.
Shout Outs A big shout out to Bald Man, but not too loud. He is trying to put is 3 year old down for a nap.
You would think Donald Driver would be licking his chops at being the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd receiver for the Packers. Then again, when 5 guys are guarding you on every play it may not be so great.
The Pack even signed rookie Shaun Bodiford on the waiver wire. Bodiford looked pretty good in brief appearances for the Detroit Lions, for a rookie, emphasis for a rookie. He was actually ahead of high draft pick in the dog house Mike Williams when they cut him. Rumor has it the towel boy is also above Mike Williams in the rotation.
Surely the Football Gods can find a decent receiver for Brett to close the season out. Last game, after Donald Driver caught a touchdown, Brett was so excited that somebody could catch a pass that he ran to the end zone and picked Donald up on his shoulders laughing like a little kid.
You know, Brett Favre kills my Lions all the time, but it is good to see that man smile and throw footballs.
NFL Football Fan Question Will Brett retire? Can Donald Driver shake all the double teams? Stayed tuned for the continuing retirement of Brett Favre. It would be good for his pending retirement to go on for years.
As always, any NFL Football related comments are welcome.

Name check!
Fantasy Disclosure: Driver is on my Fantasy Team… Thankfully they play Arizona this week.
That is a license to steal.
Welp even though I’ve always been a Bears fan, I have to admit that I’ve always liked the Packers and Brett Favre (weird and blasphemous I know). It really does suck to see the guy struggling so much in his last few years. I don’t know if the guy should retire though, I mean Doug Floutie and Vinny Testeverde (sp?) were in the league well into their 40’s, even though neither were starters for long or took the kind of hits Brett has lately.
Agreed Brett sure is a classic. He always seems to be having fun. especially when picking on my Lions. Will certainly miss him when he does go.
Hey, must feel good to be a Bears fan these days.
Yeah it does indeed feel good this year! Feels way better then last year and we somehow made it to the playoffs. Colts v. Bears for the SB? Or maybe Tom Brady will shock everyone and take his rag tag band of receivers all the way again.
It’s pretty good football year.
There is some great history with the Bears, Halas, Butkis, Ditka, Peyton, etc.
Seems like a lot of highs and lows with very little in the middle. You are either winning big or losing big, year after year. My Lions just lose.
