You know the facts can get in the way, because they are only revealed at a later date long after the real event has happened. So let us get on with the rumor mill. Our favorite subject is Brett Favre, because his rumors just seem to come true over and over. Brett is like a Rocky movie. This would be Favre 18 or something like that.
Citing a source “with direct knowledge of discussions between the two parties,” ESPN reported the meeting will take place at an undisclosed location, with the understanding that Favre will decide soon after whether to play for Minnesota.
The Vikings would expect Favre to participate in offseason minicamps and training camp, the report said, which helps explain the accelerated timeline of this prospective marriage of longtime enemies.

Brett could be taking his wares to Minnesota
The best news of all for Brett if he decides to play for the Vikings is that his record against the Vikes is 17 – 14. That is not real Favre-like, but would be cured by not having to play against them. Of course, there is that little grudge against the Packers that would make for a couple of fun North division home and away games.
