This story just seems to drag on and on.
What are the Packers afraid of?
Why won’t the NFL step in and do something.
Ok, my unofficial poll has 80 million people wanting to see Brett play again and 5 not wanting to see him play again. All 5 work for the Packers.
Aaron Rodgers mom wants to see Brett eat soup and play again.
It just gets crazier and crazier.
All of this, naturally, brings us back to Brett Favre, who has turned what is normally a dead spot in the NFL season into a ceaseless Fourth of July fireworks display. As a football columnist and unabashed fan of real-life daytime drama, I have absolutely no problem with that, and unlike some others – say, Packers general manager Ted Thompson and Coach Mike McCarthy – I’m certainly in no hurry to see it go away.
It won’t anytime soon, thanks to interviews like the one Favre gave Monday in which he essentially accused the Packers’ power brokers of lying and insisted that they’ve told him he’s no longer welcome in Green Bay and that they hope to prevent him from playing elsewhere.

Brett retired, no one told him to, that was his decision, he must live with it. I think he has gone crazy. And I am a huge Brett fan, but, this is embarrassing!
Brett proved that he can still play the game of Football. Ted Thompson can wait a year or two to make his mark in Green Bay. Put the ego’s aside, come to an agreement and let Brett play for the only team/fans he should be playing for “GREEN BAY PACKERS”!

this is stupid, can you imagine the bulls telling michael jordan to take a hike. hell, rogers will be hurt within the first half of the season. what is with this front office. it is not a sin to retire, then want to come back. i’m sure the packers will wait right up to the start of the season then cut him, so they can totally screw him…..

Ted knows Brett is the best, hes just jealous that brett is the pack and not him. I think he should admit his secrete man crush on favre and kiss and make up. By the way if the packers is owned by the town why in the hell cant they express how they feel, doesnt the whole town want favre back after all hes done.

This is crap! If anyone seen the packers scrimage then they would know that rogers sucks, i mean the rookies made him look like hell, they threw the ball better than him, so to me ted and mike need to be canned and for favre ill follow him where ever he goes
Now Brett is a Jet. the Packers are still better than my Lions, but not by as much.
