They should make options like in SuperT (which doesn't work with FF 2.) extension:

mid-click (or some other action, it is configurable) on tab-bar can bring back closed tab. Overall, I was hoping that FF 2 would introduce more tabbed browsing options by default, without need for extensions ti be installed.

They should just make it Ctrl + Z like Opera. Ctrl + Shift + T will not work with me because Ctrl +Shift changes my keyboard settings (which I enjoy changing from time to time, so I don’t want to turn that off)

It is a very fast browser and that´s why I can´t dawdle with FF

You can also right-click the tab bar and choose “Undo Close Tab” or go to “History->Recently Closed Tabs” to reopen older tabs.

Opera has a much better tab re-opening feature – I never close my web browser until it crashes; thus, the tabs I close accumulate. The little trash-can icon I can click to revive tabs fills my whole screen vertically – it’s pretty amazing. It also has shortcuts as well.

But still, Firefox 2 (which I converted from Opera 9 to recently) is still pretty great.

Pretty sure this was an option in 1.5x, also.

Or maybe it was just one of my extensions?

Wow, before i read this post, i’m really sure that i will not use firefox2 with it’s “each tab closed button” feature, because i’m always accidentaly closed my tabs, just like when i browse with camino, that also has same feature.
btw, thanks for post this!
no camino, no opera, no safari, just firefox! :)
