Bryan Danielson Wrestling in the WWE?

The biggest news to come out of last night’s live WWE RAW episode is something that no one saw. In a dark match the Wrestling Observer’s two-time defending Most Outstanding Wrestler title winner Bryan Danielson reportedly defeated Lance Cade, finishing off the former World Tag Team Championship title holder with his signature Cattle Mutilation submission hold.
If the Ring of Honor star is indeed coming to the WWE then this is an exciting turn of events for all wrestling fans and might even mean a further influx of Ring of Honor talent. Danielson is as entertaining a performer as they come and maybe the best technical wrestler plying his trade today.
And judging by his myspace page he’s a wildly interesting and thoughtful guy. He lists Raymond Carver as one of his favorite authors, has Noam Chomsky as a Top 4 friend, and listens to anti-folk music.
Let’s hope this works out for the American Dragon because he certainly would be one of the best things that’s come to the WWE in a while. Here’s a youtube compilation of his top ten moves:
