Bryant Gumble and Chris Collinsworth to call games for the NFLN

On Wednesday it was announced that the NFL Network is hiring Chris Collinsworth and Briant Gumble to do their play-by-play commentary and analysis in their games.

I’m still not quite sure how I feel about this. For one thing I don’t have the NFL Network, so it won’t affect me all that much, but still, I’m not sure it was the best choice they could have made.

Chris Collinsworth is good enough, but not the best. Briant Gumble always kind of annoyed me when he talked, so I’m not sure he was all that great of a choice either.

But then again, maybe that’s why I’m no in charge of this type of thing

Bryant Gumble is okay, but Chris Collinswoth-less is biased in his opinions and has an agenda which takes priority over analysis. I don’t remember him as a Bengal wide receiver, and that doesn’t say much.
