Buck Burnette Facebook Racism – Obama

November 6, 2008 by Stephen Kersey

It’s safe to say Buck Burnette, an offensive lineman for the Texas Longhorns, didn’t vote for Barack Obama in the recent presidential elections. That’s just an educated guess, however.

Burnette was kicked off of the Longhorns after he posted a racist message on Facebook after Obama won the election to become President-Elect of the United States of America.

On Burnette’s Facebook page, he had the following quote:

“all the hunters gather up, we have a #$%&er in the whitehouse”

Not exactly the most politically correct comment of all-time. Although Burnette later issued an apology, UT did the right thing in kicking him off the team. That’s not just dumb, that’s scary dumb.
