Success for Hire is a terrific resource for managers who want to find and keep the best talent but are unsure how to proceed.

1. Got you Covered. Although you can’t always judge a book by the cover, I love the cover of this book. The cover does hint of the good things to come.
2. Common Hiring Mistakes. Page 2 lists common mistakes we make that result in poor hiring decisions such as “not being upfront with candidates during the recruitment process.” Read the mistakes, know your hiring mistakes, and read the book to avoid these common mistakes.
3. Expert Advice. Alexandra examines, “how companies are using innovative methods to achieve their recruitment and retention objectives” and you’ll learn from experts about what works and what doesn’t work.
4. Good hiring promotes you. “When the people you hire succeed, you do as well!”
5. A plethora of practical tools. I appreciate how Alexandra’s book is stuffed with practical tools, case studies, checklists, do’s and don’ts, and sample documents. Each chapter concludes with terrific tips on making it happen. I encourage you to buy the book, go by the book, and make it happen!
