Business Category in 2007 Black Weblog Awards

Thanks to having subscribed to the feed for Paula Neal Mooney’s always interesting blog, I caught up today with the 2007 Black Weblog Awards.

From the Awards blog site, I found that this year there is a Business Blog category.

Jim D. Walton’s Black in Business blog is “a blog for ordinary people wanting extraordinary success”. Judging by Mr Walton’s CV in corporate America and now as a recruiter, he knows about achieving extraordinary success. And I liked the story-telling that frames and underpins the business lessons he shares.

The other finalist listed in the Business Blog category, Black Women in Europe, is the work of expatriate African-American Adrianne George and is described as being

Created by an African American expatriate for other expatriates and Afro-Europeans. A place to celebrate women in the African Diaspora.

Ms George is based in Sweden.

According to the Awards site, voting ends August 31 and winners are announced September 5.
