Business Marketing Monday: Community Events

Trade shows, community fairs and craft festivals are wonderful places to market your buisness and do a little networking. Most small communities, like the one I live in here in Alabaster, AL, have annual and semi-annual community events that track hundreds, even thousands of people to their sales shows.

The opportunity to market? Rent a booth or table at the festival and diplay your wares. This idea works well with those in the personal services market, such as Mary Kay, Avon or spa services.

To find out these community events in your area, visit uour public librarry and read the local newspaper for any advertised events. Make sure that you have PLENTY of business cards, brochures and /or flyers about your company.
