Business Me Time: Preparing For Growth

Have you ever wondered what it would take to grow your business? Do you have plans to grow your business during the second half of 2009? Have you been trying to develop ways to connect your business to a successful future? Then I would say that you are preparing for growth in your business during 2009.
In case you haven’t been preparing for growth, I thought it would be helpful to share a few key points to help you get started with your plan. Below is a starter list of things that you can do.
- Understand the status of your finances.
- Try to develop outside financing options.
- Determine what the core competencies are for your business.
- Know how your business looks externally to your customers and internally to your employees.
- Check into new non-organic ways to grow your business.
- Research and find an advisors who understands your industry and can help you grow your business.
- Investigate ways that you can incorporate Web 2.0 technologies into your business
- Develop ways to monitor the use of your business processes to ensure that it is not stolen by your competitors.
