		<description>I always suggest in business plans that the business include a &quot;partners in marketing&quot; sub section. I don&#039;t know if that fits into your plan somewhere else, but getting them thinking about partnering as a marketing and sales channel is usually a very productive avenue, and one that often gets overlooked in the general hoopla of starting up and trying to figure out who the heck is actually going to buy this thing we are selling? 

In fact, I can think of a few examples of small businesses I&#039;ve worked with where it turned out that their making a few strategic partnership agreements in the early going was the only thing that kept them alive, and aided tremendously in their long term growth.
