Don’t you just love the arrogance of some of the people who post ads to Craigslist? Let’s take this gent for example:

I am looking for someone to write by business plan for my nation wide computer service company. It would be a requirement that the potential person has experience in writing business plans and doing research. I would need someone to take my overall ideas and put it into a professional business plan with all reports, charts, and components of a professional business plan. I am expecting between 28-40 pages. I can have a professional business plan writing company do this for me for $200-$300 with free revisions. So, my budget is between $50-150 for the completed project. Please email me with an estimate and qualifications.
In essence he’s saying, "Here. I’m doing you a favor. Write my $30 page business plan and because I’m a nice guy and not going to a professional business plan writing service, I’ll let you do it for $50. I know. I’m a giver."
Just because a writer might not work for a corporation doesn’t make him less than professional. And why would an experienced business plan writer write 40 pages for $150 bucks, especially after you gave us the going rate? Actually it’s not the going rate, a well written business plan can costs a couple of grand.
What an ass.
Oh Lord. WHO would do a 40-page business plan for 50 bucks? Or even $150? A “potential person,” perhaps, but no writer I’ve ever known.
Yeah. Good luck with that.
