But I’m Not A Web Designer!

I firmly believe every freelance writer needs a website. I spell out the reasons, and even how to get started, in an article called You’re a Writer – You Need a Website!

You can see mine at www.annewayman.com if you’re curious. It’s simple enough so you can do something similar all by yourself. I use 1and1 as a host, and they have a way cool web site builder that’s a super easy way to get started.

But the web is also a publishing medium, and I use it as such. That means I have a couple of largeish websites and I do all the work myself. Which works most of the time… until I need a design change.

Right now I’m struggling with cascading style sheets, which, when I master enough for myself, will make my life a whole lot easier… right now it’s a struggle… I know it will be worth it, but right now I want to scream.

Write well and often,
