Thanks for the great sum-up. I thought I&#039;d share a quick &quot;Day Four&quot; note, for those of you considering this approach for your own applications:

The only difference between a grid computer, and a massively distributed denial-of-service, is whether or not you&#039;ve got server-side brakes.

Uptake has been much faster than I expected, and I&#039;ve had to throttle the polling down this morning, since I&#039;ve been pegged close to 100% cpu and a full T1&#039;s worth of traffic for the last two days.

So, keep that in mind - being able to turn the heat down, without releasing a new version, is more than just &quot;a good thing&quot;.
