C-gold Facing DDOS Attacks

Just after interviewing Robert from C-gold, here’s the reason why you haven’t been able to access C-gold’s site at the moment. From C-gold’s chat board

Just two days after we moved the database to a seperate server we are now under DDOS attack. This might come from the people we didn’t let steal all the gold from user accounts they had phished the passwords to.

And because we just set up the new machine it wasn’t hardened against most common attack types just yet. We are working on it now.

Updates will be posted here, as always.

DDOS attacks are irritating. Perhaps C-gold should install anti DDOS protection from Prolexic? *nudges Robert in a good ol’ fashion. Also, is it c-Gold, or C-gold, or C-Gold? That’s always the problem with e-Gold, not knowing the exact naming convention.
