<description>Cal State East Bay, formerly CAL STATE HAYWARD has a long history - successful history in NCAA Div II, in 1991 it went nuts and decided to go Div. III and get hooked up in the NAIA II schools . That was/is an utter failure that the new President of the school wanted to fix immeidately. As he was instrumental in Cal State- Northridge going Div I. That said, CSUEBay has a bursting enrollment at 15000 today, and will have no problem being good in DIvision II. Its just a case of getting real up at Hayward, and competing with similar sized schools in 2009 .</description>
