Call for pitches

OK PR people. I’m one of you. You and me, we speak the same language. We grok each ot
her.
So, with this blog, I’m coming to you as one of the coveted ones. I’m coming to you as a journalist. I invite your pitches. (and you better not make me regret doing this! I’ll so out you to the Bad Pitch Blog if you do! I know people.)
I want to know what you, your company, and your clients are doing in the social media realm. Tell me your successes, tell me your failures. But not only that, tell me WHY it was a success or a failure.
If you send me a failure, I need to know what you expected and then also, what went wrong. If you send me a success, I need to know what your goals were and what happened.
I want to know what is happening in your world at the intersection of PR, social media and business. Email me directly.
Now, like I said, don’t make me regret this, ok? Because you WILL be sent in if you do.

Colleen,
Welcome to Buzz Networker! However, your email link in the post above is broken, and when I try and send to colleen.coplick@b5media.com, it bounces. Could you drop me a line with a working email address? I’d love to get in touch.

I don’t have my story for you yet, but I like the idea. I will be back in the next day or so with something to share. I may also blog about this on Interview Chatter. Great idea!

@Duncan – thanks for the heads up. I’ll look into it and sent you an email. You can reach me at colleen@typeapr.com as an alternate.
@Darlene Please do! (both send me stuff later and post about it!) :D
Colleen – Thx for the link. We also take good pitches. While the bad ones are the guilty pleasure, the good ones tend to be more helpful.
@Kevin you’re welcome! I’ll be sending you everything that stands out, don’t worry! :)
Hi Colleen, great idea! after all, pitching an idea well, will make the difference. We all need practice in flying.
I’ve sent you my pitch
