Using creating ways to fina a job is becoming a norm among those who are looking for a job. One of those creative ways is through the use of social media. I know, you may think of social media as a way to share your thoughts and ideas with others via Twitter, Facebook, or other social networks. But in reality, social media can be a creative way to find a job.
According to DuctTapeMarketing.com….
Social media is the use of technology combined with social interaction to create or co-create value.

As you look for a job, you use technology and interact with others so that you can be hired, right. Then another creative way for you to find a job is via social media website. To help you get started, I’ve provided a short list of social media websites where you can start looking for a job:
- LinkedIn jobs (must be a register user, you can register for free)
- Craigslist (many jobs listed by state or country, be careful of scammers though)
- oDesk (integrated way to work from home and get paid; not necessarily social media but a good place to look)
- Elance (integrated way to work from home and get paid; not necessarily social media but a good place to look)
Some of the keys to using social media to find a job is persistence, research, and follow-through. As you use social media to find a job, keep in mind that communicating with your prospective employer is important.
Remember that sometimes employers check out the different social media websites to see what your online reputation reflects. Make sure that you are monitoring your online reputation because it could affect you being hired by some employers.
I htough tit would be helpful to include a video that explain how oDesk works. It explain the whole process including how payment for services works.
