Canadians Love Online Banking

February 14, 2007 by Mark Evans

According to a new survey by TNS Canadian Facts, 37% of Canadians are using online banking services while 60% have signed up for an online banking account. Meanwhile, 81% of Canadians use an ATM machine. “We are seeing a continued trend toward reliance on two main modes for day-to-day transactions: online banking and ABMS,” said Rhonda Grunier, a VIP with TSN. Does it strike anyone as strange that Canadians are so enthusiastic about online banking yet they remain cautious about e-commerce and online advertising? For more, check out ITBusiness.ca.
