Candidate’s MySpace Profile Review: John McCain

The oldest candidate running for office has the hippest page in his own party. John McCain has a nice streamlined look to his page, while it is still using the standard type of MySpace layout his team has done a good job designing within that setup. My only complaint is that they don’t use the left column at all.

On his page he makes a really good use of video and banners, while they don’t have a lot of links to other social media platforms he does a better job than the other Republicans. The items all blend together and have a sort of cohesion to them unlike Giuliani’s page where things look to just be pasted all over the place.
His blog is updated regularly and there is actual conversations occurring in the comments of the blog, unlike Huckabee’s and other candidates pages. In fact I think that some of the other candidates have turned off commenting altogether. Something that I think is a no no in the realm of social media.
Overall I think the McCain campaign leads the Republicans but still falls short of Edwards and Obama with using social media.
What do you think about McCain’s page?
