The mystery surrounding the death of David Carradine has just intensified. Instead of providing answers the autopsy on the Kung Fu actor created more questions as it disproved the reports that Carradine committed suicide.![]()
Dr. Michael Baden, the specialist hired by the Carradine family, made the following statement: “To reach a final determination as to the cause and the manner of death, we must wait for further information from Thailand as to the scene findings and the completion of the crime laboratory and toxicology studies that are still being performed.”
Of course, now the Thai officials will begin investigating the death of Carradine, who was found hanging in the closet of his hotel in Bangkok with ropes around his neck, wrist and genitals.
While many speculate that this tragedy is the result of a sex act gone wrong, the Carradines have always been vocal about the fact that they did not believe that David could commit suicide and some have even suspected foul play.
Robert Carradine had the following to say about the latest developments: “Until we have all of the pending results of the investigation we respectfully ask … that we be allowed to lay our beloved brother, husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather to rest in peace and with dignity. Once the investigation is fully completed and definitive conclusions have been reached, we will address the findings with the public.”
Fans who would like to remember Carradine in happier times might want to tune in to Spike TV this Saturday. They will be running a marathon of his films, airing double runs of Kill Bill: Volume 1 and Kill Bill: Volume 2, followed by Kung Fu Killer.
