Catch the LeFevour

Last night’s Motor City Bowl might officially be a victory for the Purdue Boilermakers, but I think the real winner here is the American football watching populace who have had more exposure to the glory that is Dan LeFevour, the MAC’s answer to Tim Tebow.
LeFevour threw for 292 yards and four touchdowns and ran for 114 yards and two touchdowns. LeFevour finished one rushing touchdown short of 20 on the season, which would have shut up those Tebow folk who talk about the 20-20 mark as if it were historic and not simply impressive yet arbitrary. LeFevour has more yards rushing and passing than Tebow during the regular season (although it’s possible that Tebow could throw for 800 yards and rush for 300 in his bowl and pass him) and is also only a Sophomore. And LeFevour does it with a less talented supporting cast.
Anyways, that’s enough of riling those Florida fans for one day.
