Catch You on the Rebound!

For the past 16 months, I’ve been writing Maple Leaf 2.0 as a way to put the spotlight on what’s happening within Canada’s Web 2.0/Internet landscape.
The good news is there has been an increasing number of companies to write about. As well, there are a growing number of blogs focused on the Canadian start-up scene such as Montreal Startup, BlogNation, Startup Ottawa and StartupNorth.
As much as I’m passionate about Canada’s Internet marketplace, I don’t have as much time as I would like to write about it. So, I’ll no longer be writing Maple Leaf 2.0.
Instead, I’ll have some more Canadian content on the flagship blog within my mini-empire (LOL!), Mark Evans Tech, and I’ve got some other ideas rumbling around.
For start-ups looking for some blog love, you can contact me at mapleleafbuckATgmail.com.
cheers,
Mark

Thanks for the hard work and help in covering Canadian startups.
And to you as well. :)
Thanks for getting the Canadian coverage started Mark.
It was a pleasure reading your work here. Thanks for putting in the time to keep us on top of things. Look forward to finding even more great stuff at your other blog.
I’m sad to see the end of MapleLeaf 2.0, Mark. I really enjoyed stopping by regularly.
Good luck with everything and I’m looking forward to hearing about these “other ideas rumbling around.”
Mark,
I’m going to miss Maple Leaf 2.0. As long as you kep t posting here, I was able to believe that the glory days of the Ottawa “silicon valley north” dream would return. Now I am left hopeless. :-(
Mark Evans gives up. What will befall the rest of us? ;-)
Thanks so much Mark. You’ve been an inspiration and I’ve always appreciated your unique voice. I’ll continue to read your other blog :) All the best.
Cheers,
Aidan
