Caught by XBox Live

Have you heard about this story?
Sounds like Allieu Shaw is in a heap of trouble. Yet another example of how first person shooters are the devil. I’m joking! Just Call of Duty 4 is the devil. [I don't mean a lick of this...just so you know. No hate mail, m'kay?]
Apparently Shaw was killing people right and left on Xbox Live and made some comments about “shooting up the school.” Honestly, the news story is just a bit lacking when it comes to specifics pertaining to what the guy said. I figure he got his feelings hurt because someone shot him in the head. [Pure conjecture, mind you.]
Whatever he said put the “authorities” on alert and they had 40 cops on the grounds of Shaw’s university. In the end, all it took to find Shaw was one handy dandy phone call.
“Police[,] working with Microsoft and XBox Live[,] tracked the Internet provider address to Shaw and his room at Annapolis Hall.”
Look kids, if you’re going to make inflammatory and idiotic statements about shooting up your school, don’t do it on Xbox Live.
Big brother is watching. [and listening]

What a jabroni! I hope he got some serious negative feedback (and wasn’t serious).
I think they mentioned way down at the bottom of the article that he said that he didn’t mean it.
He’s looking at a max of 1yr in jail…I hope it was worth it.
ElohEL, what happen to freedom of speech
Free speech doesn’t apply if said speech is likely to incite imminent lawless action…like shooting up your university.
