As a manager, it’s important you recognize the important days for your team. Today is one of those days. It’s Mother’s Day here in the US. If you have folks who are mothers, or who have mothers, why not celebrate the day! It doesn’t have to cost a lot, and it can be super effective!

5 Ways to Celebrate Mother’s Day Cheap

  1. Send a note home to your employees’ children, thanking them for sharing their mom with us.
  2. Send a note home to your employees’ spouse, thanking them for their help balancing raising the children so your employee can contribute to your team’s success
  3. For the non-mothers, how about sending a bouquet of flowers home to their mom’s, thanking them for raising such a fine employee.
  4. Buy a book of stamps so folks on your team can mail out their Mother’s Day cards, on you.
  5. Give employees 15 minutes extra at lunch to shop for a Mother’s Day gift or card, and you cover the shop while they’re away.

How can you celebrate Mother’s Day with your team?
