National Small Business Week is April 21-25. This year, the government has set up a three-day event in Washington D.C. as well as events in NYC, and even created a website for this year’s festivities at www.nationalsmallbusinessweek.com where you can register for events.
Even if you can’t attend the festivities, there are other ways you can participate that could help you personally.
For example, piggyback on the holiday by creating a giveaway or discount in honor of the week. Send out a press release to tell the world. It’s a win-win situation. You’ll reach out to new potential customers, who will get something in return. What a great way to increase your list.
You can also send an email to your subscribers thanking them for making you a successful startup, or come up with something even more creative. No matter which way you put it, this holiday is a great opportunity to get you some publicity.
So how are you going to celebrate National Small Business Week?
