5 Ways to Celebrate Talk like a Pirate Day With Your Team

Happy Talk like a Pirate Day! Every year on September 19th, it’s talk like a pirate day, and if you’re a manager into fun, you need to celebrate the day too! I am, so I thought I’d share my tips with you!

5 fun ways to celebrate Talk Like a Pirate Day with your Team

1. First, replace everyone’s keyboard with one with only the letter R and make them type all day with just that key (Arrrr! Get it?)
2. Let each person print out or draw a picture of their least favorite customer, put the face on a doll, and let them “walk the plank” into a pit of coffee.
3. Get everyone an eye patch and make them work with one eye tied behind their back
4. Encourage everyone to call their customer “matey” and instead of saying hello tell them to say “Ahoy!”
5. Have a turf war between your team and the team next to you, firing Nerf missiles at each other, and scream “Thar she blows!”
