“Celebrity Apprentice” Gets Renewed

The Celebrity Apprentice has been renewed by NBC. I would love to hear from those of you who watch this show because I can’t think of a single one of my friends or family members who does. Further, I actually enjoyed The Apprentice: Martha Stewart and that got yanked but this celebrity version has
staying power? I really don’t get it.
I guess I’m the only one who isn’t watching this show, though, since it performs quite well even though it’s a massive two hours long per episode (okay, fair enough. I watch two hours of The Biggest Loser every week so I can’t really say much).
The current season of the show is under way and just this past week, Melissa Rivers was eliminated and she completely freaked out. She and her mother (and fellow contestant), Joan Rivers, were on the Ellen Degeneres Show this week where they talked about the blow up. Maybe people are tuning in for the drama? I still don’t get it.
The new season is set to air sometime in the spring of 2010 and, of course, it’s too early to have any news about casting.
