I noticed a new text ad today on Healthandmen.com and it got me curious…so the cat died cause I clicked on it. ChangeNow4Health is a site dedicated to trying to reform health care which we all know needs a major overhaul. Healthcare these says seems to be more of a profiteering market and not so much a public service intended to save lives and make people healthy. It’s sad really. Anyway I’ll let the site’s “About” explain exactly what ChangeNow4Health is all about:
ChangeNow4Health is a broad, grassroots coalition committed to improving the nation’s health care system through immediate action.
This web-based coalition is built upon communities of members who address specific areas of improvement.
Humana has partnered with Availity, Business Health Care Group and nationally recognized health care consultant Dr. Jacque Sokolov to create this unique approach to change, where anyone interested in improving our nation’s health care system is welcome to share insights, ideas and transform discussion into action.
Initially, the communities will focus on three areas of interest:
