Cheating Death

tribalreaperblack2.jpgWhile technology these days has people living longer on a larger scale then any other time in history there is still only one true fact about death. It’s inevitable. The probability of dying in a car accident is a lot higher than a plane crash but these are things that we can’t really always prevent. Same thing as disease. While we can’t totally prevent most diseases, we can take some precautions to lower our risk just like anything else.

Men’s Health Magazine November Issue published an article on 50 ways to “Beat The Reaper”. I’m going to show you just a few of those ways that they published:

#1. Drink at least five 8-ounce glasses of water a day. Scientists at Loma Linda University found that men who drank this amount of H2O were 54% less likely to suffer a fatal heart attack than those who drank two glasses or less a day.”

“#9 Take A Daily Multivitamin. Reasearchers at the University of California at Berkley discovered that it helps prevent DNA damage that causes cancer. We like Centrum Silver.” (I like GNC Mega Men Sport)

#15 Eat Produce At Every Meal. If you consume more than five servings of fruits and vegetables a day, you have a 26% lower risk of stroke than people who eat fewer than 3 servings, according to a recent U.K. study.”

To read the rest, you can pick up the newest copy of Men’s Health Magazine, in stores now.
