Chicago taking it slowly with Lovie Smith
The Chicago media has slowly swung its focus away from the draft, and onto more controversial stuff. A story went out recently, full of outrage at the fact that the Chicago Bears are taking their time extending Lovie Smith’s contract. Apparently they’d rather throw caution into the wind than have the team take their time getting to know him a little better and getting a better idea of just how good a coach he really is.
