Chinese Coach’s Low Medal Count Threat

Chinese gymnastics coach, Huang Yubin, has made an interesting promise regarding the upcoming 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.  He has said that, if his team doesn’t improve on their 2004 medal haul, he will “jump off the highest building.”  They only won one gold medal at the Athens Games but he’s sure his team “will win more than one gold this year.”

Considering the alternative, I’m hoping China does very well in the gymnastics events!
