Olympics Day 4 - Artistic Gymnastics

The Americans had been heavily favored to win the Men’s gymnastics team event but with both Paul Hamm and his twin brother, Morgan Hamm, knocked out of the lineup with injuries, many wondered about the fate of Team USA.

In the end, China’s male gymnasts were triumphant, capturing the gold medal.  Japan took silver and the Americans earned the bronze medal.

The Chinese team were incredible on all of the events and with a score of 286.125, they finished more than seven points ahead of Japan and well ahead of Team USA whose final score was 275.850.
