Choosing the right Microsoft Office Alternatives

If you are using Microsoft Office everyday, like you can’t live without it, you better prepare and try other alternatives of Microsoft Office. There are actually lots to choose from and they are free.

You have Lotus Symphony from IBM, a free office suite, available for Windows and Linux users. Also, you can try OpenOffice.org, an open-source office suite and can be tweaked with add-ons to it.

If you find it time-consuming to download and install these software, you have the choice to try out online office suites like Google Docs and Zoho. Both allows online collaboration and document sharing, making it more easy to work online.

There are many reasons to try out these tools but if you are looking to reduce licensing costs or avoid piracy, try them out.
