Choosing Your Keywords

You may have already chosen what would be your website’s topic and what it would tackle. But you still would have to choose the right SEO keywords to bring in more traffic to your site. And doing that could mean some brainwork and some help from SEO tools.

What you do first is you think about what your website is all about. Then, get down a piece of paper and a pen (or pencil) and start listing down all the keywords that you think other people would use to search for information contained in your website. After listing those down, you can also start asking your friends and your family and those people around you with keywords that they might use.

You can also make use of keyword tools available on the net and there are some of these offered for free. These keyword tools would help you “discover” other keywords related to your site’s content and these keywords are actually those which consumers have already used to find their way to other sites similar to yours.
